Where are you shipping?

We are offering World Wide shipping for a fixed price and it takes normally 3-5 days. We use Fedex and they deliver the order to your door. Thats why its important that you enter a working email-adress and phone number so that you could be reached.
Smaller items are shipped with normal mail.

What do you mean with unique identity?

All our bags have their own unique identity number embroidered on the side. That makes each bag an individual.

Where are the bags made?

Our bags are designed in Sweden and manufactured in Asia.

10 Year warranty?

Yes, all DUFFLER bags comes with a 10 year warranty. If a DUFFLER bag (excluding accessories) covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect DUFFLER will repair the product, without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by this warranty. Read more about our warranty here .

Where can I buy a DUFFLER?

All DUFFLER Bags is primarily sold online with worldwide shipping. You could also find our bags in a number of stores in Stockholm.

The Badges

How do I get a badge?

There are two ways to get a badge;

1. You had a location to your on-going list in the App and the App will notify you when you have reach your achievement. We will then send the badge via normal mail to the address you have registered in the app.

2. You could also order custom made badges in our web shop.

What are the badges made of?

Our badges are made from real leather and fitted with velcro to be able to attach it on the bag. The leather patch is then laser engraved. The leather will change its color over time.

Images used in the app

The majority of all images used in our App are released under the Creative Commons License and are free to use. Some images have also been provided to us by their Photographers. None of the images belong to DUFFLER so far.

Could the beacon help me find the bag?

The beacon does not contain a GPS so it will not be possible to get the location of a missing bag with help of the beacon. In upcoming versions of the app we plan to include a tracking feature, but that will require the bag to be within a 70 meter radius to be found.

How to extend battery lifetime of the beacon

The beacon is the designed to be “sleeping” when it is not moving and other parameters are also tuned to give maximum battery lifetime. In ideal scenarios the battery could last more then three years. However, the battery lifetime will be reduced if the beacon is kept in a very cold climate. You could not recharge the battery and the beacon is sealed to be water resistant, making it difficult to replace the battery. We will replace your beacon for a small fee when the battery is dead.

Specification of the beacon

The beacon weights approx 30 grams and have an expected battery life time of 3 years. It is water resistant and have no buttons. The beacon uses Bluetooth to connect to your smartphone.

 

Warranty & Repairs

I have a broken zipper, can it be replaced?

The main zipper could be replaced by a professional even it’s a little bit tricky. Please contact us at support@duffler.com  and we will provide you with a replacement zipper. 

I have a broken buckle, can it be replaced?

Luckily, buckles are easy to replace and we will send it to you for free.  Just drop us an email at support@duffler.com to request a replacement buckle. Please provide your name and address, along with a description of the buckle, including the width of the strap the buckle is attached to in inches and a picture of the buckle if possible.

What does a repair cost?

The cost of non-warranty repairs varies from one repair to another, depending on the cost of the materials and length of time it takes for us to do the repair. After your product is evaluated, we will send you an email with the final repair costs, and request that you call us to approve the charges.

Who pays for shipping?

As stated in our warranty policy, the customer pays the shipping charges to send the bag to us. DUFFLER will cover the return shipping charges using regular mail. Shipping charges for all non-warranty repairs are at the owner’s expense.

Will my DUFFLER be repaired or replaced?

If your warranted DUFFLER Bag fails due to a manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship, our first option will be to repair the item, free of charge. If the product is not repairable, or if the cost of repairing the item exceeds the cost of a new one, we will replace it. Unfortunately we are not able to keep your old Bag’s ID but we will transfer all data and badges to the new bag so that your history will continue. If your DUFFLER bag has other special memories attached to it that make it irreplaceable to you, please indicate so on the Warranty Return Form and we will not replace it and it will be returned to you together with a new bag.

Is normal wear and tear covered by warranty?

DUFFLER 10 Year warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, but it does not cover normal wear and tear. Wear and tear is damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal use of your bag. Regardless of how carefully you are with your bag, it will sooner or later begin to show age and wear. Common examples that would not be covered under the lifetime warranty include colors fading, abrasions on the bottom of the bag from rubbing when you drag the bag out of cars etc.
